A popular EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH song improv is the HUMAN BEAT BOX.
In our show, four players enter one at a time. As each one enters, they introduce part of a beat, bast line or auxilary percussion. Once all four members are in, player one drops down a four line rap (Usually AABB rhyme scheme). Player two, three and four follow with their own verse. For the fifth verse, players each take one line, with player one setting up player two for a rhyme. Like wise player three sets up player four for a rhyme.
As with songs like the BLUES, there are a ny number of ways to perform a game like this. Try ours or makie up your own patterns. Here are a few examples from our live shows.
