IMPROV GAME: Freeze Frame OR Human Slide Show

Here is another GREAT audience interactive. When we perform at schools with a large stage OR staging area, we have been known to get 15-20 guests with us in the action…

FREEZE FRAME: Basically cast and/or audience volunteers strike a series of poses – SLIDES. MC can get a number of ask fors. Our favorite for the public shows is an historical event. For private events we have been known to get the last vacation destination for the CEO etc. One or more players stands to the side and narrates the slides. Usually 5 is a good number. We have done games with 3-10. This is a great game where you can stretch if the show is running short.

With each slide, MC/Narrator should say NEXT SLIDE etc. Try throwing in a few curves… “Oops, that one is in upside down.” OR “That one is backwards!”

If you can have a black out before each slide. If you have a dangerous stage area (ie people can easily fall of OR you are performing for drunks) good to leave some light up for safety.

In just about every show we perform, guests and clients name this is as their favorite game.
