There are two versions of this game that have been played by EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH players. There are most certainly others out there and we will post those in the future.
AUDIENCE SOUND EFFECTS: One of our most popular games, as it gets some audience members making some crazy whacky sounds to support the actors, AUDIENCE SOUND EFFECTS gets two audience members on stage. The actors perform a scene. The audience members interact and create sound effects to support what the actors say or do; AND the actors react to audience sounds as the scene progresses. BE PREPARED!!! You never know what the audience will give you. Very few would be considered “Perfect” (ie give you what a professional improvisor or sound editor would provide). In most cases, the audience members give you way to little OR way too much. Not to worry. Stay calm and in the moment and both can be the source of great fun. Avoid too many comments about the audience members themsleves. You want to make them feel welcome so they give you their best.
PANTOMIME SOUND EFFECTS: I will find a better name for this burt basically one player pantomimes and activity. Another player makes sound effects for the scene. While the above version is more popular in the US broadcast, this version was a regular on the BBC WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY. That being said (LMAO) here is a version of the game from Drew Carey’s show. (I will try to find an old copy of us playing this version)
